Comfort...
This
spacious and comfortable family run house is situated approximately
1 mile from the ferry terminal at Lochboisdale. It has an elevated
position giving panoramic views over Uist's rugged eastern coastline.
There are six well appointed bedrooms all with en-suite facilities;
with two of the bedrooms having wheelchair access. All the rooms
are centrally heated and have tea/coffee making facilities.
Relax
in the bright, warm lounge with its magnificent view and observe
island life passing by. After a hard day's hill walking or beach
combing why not relax by having a sauna and just soothe those aches
away!
Activity...
Uist
is a birdwatchers paradise. You can stroll along the white sandy
beaches teeming with oystercatchers, plovers and redshanks and watch
them competing for their own place. In contrast, the eastern side
of the island is more tranquil and you may be fortunate enough to
spot an otter.
The
abundant lochs will entice the keenest of fishermen and the active
walker can 'step a gailey' over a landscape older than time itself.
Whatever
you do, Uist has an abundance of beautiful and breathtaking scenery
for you to admire - making the place a photographers dream. From
the carpet of summer flowers to the peaceful autumn reflections
- Uist is full of surprises.
We
have the facilities to cope with, whatever the weather, from drying
rooms and hairdryers to sauna and good books, but most of all Good
Company.
